建築家 ザハ・ハディドは、日本では新国立競技場の建築デザインコンペで１位になったのに、結局すったもんだあり建設されなかったゴタゴタの中で世間的にも知られるようになりました。
しかし、建築家 ザハ・ハディドは女性として初のプリツカー賞(建築界のノーベル賞)を受賞するなど、曲線を駆使した独自のデザインを確立している建築家で、建築界では知られた存在でした。
日本では、特に金銭に関わるさまざななネガティヴ報道の渦中で有名になったのがちょっと残念が気がします。
建築家 ザハ・ハディドは、1950年にイラクのバグダッドで生まれました。
初期の作品は、実作に恵まれずに、アンビルド（つまり未建築）の女王と呼ばれていました。
1983年に香港の「ピーク・クラブ」設計コンペに勝利して、世界的に認知されるようになります。その設計コンペで建築家 ザハ・ハディドを見出したのが、建築家 磯崎新です。
世界中で複数のプロジェクトを手掛けて、今後が期待されていましたが、残念ながら2016年に心臓発作で急逝しました。65歳でした。

この作品集は、2016年に逝去した後に編纂されたので、生前に竣工した全てのプロジェクトが掲載されています。

5. GA DOCUMENT―世界の建築 (99) ザハ・ハディド（ザハ・ハディド 著）
このザハ・ハディドの作品集は「GA DOCUMENT」シリーズで2007年に発行です。
ザハ・ハディドが有名になり、かなり世界でのプロジェクトが増えてきた時代のものです。
図版も沢山あり、見ているだけで美しい作品集です。
フランク・ゲーリーの建築は、外観が波打っていても、内部はそこまで過激ではなくて大人しい印象ですが、ザハ・ハディドは外観のフォルムが内観に影響していて、本当に面白いですね。
6. ザハ・ハディド 最新プロジェクト(ZAHA HADID RECENT PROJECT)（ザハ・ハディド 著）
このザハ・ハディドの作品集は2010年に出版されています。
かなり近年までの作品が見られますね！
7. MAXXI: Zaha Hadid Architects: Museum of XXI Century Arts（ザハ・ハディド 著）
こちらは、MAXXI（Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo：イタリア国立21世紀美術館）の作品集です。
イタリア、ローマのフラミニオ地区にある国立現代美術美術館で、2010年に英国王立建築家協会のスターリング賞を受賞しました。

8. Zaha Hadid and Suprematism（ザハ・ハディド 著）
これは、みたかった！！！
ザハ・ハディドは、スイスのチューリヒにあるギャラリー、「グムルジンスカ」で画期的な展覧会を開きました。
ザハ・ハディドが、企画、キュレーションして、ロシア・アヴァンギャルドの作品とザハ・ハディド・アーキテクツの作品を比較しています。
ロシア・アヴァンギャルドの作品の激しい爆発は、ダイナミックな白黒のデザインで建築家による現代的な作品を引き裂きました。
この会場のために特別に作成された、2次元のドローイングを3次元の空間に投影することで、ギャラリーは空間的な絵画に変わるという趣向です。
ザハ・ハディドは、カジミール・マレーヴィチ、エル・リシツキー、アレクサンドル・ロチェンコなどのロシア・アヴァンギャルドの絵画と彫刻の歪んだ無重力の空間を、彼女自身の建築言語に翻訳しています。
またやってほしいですが、残念ながら難しいですね。
This volume juxtaposes the dynamic, sweeping planes and angles of the buildings of Zaha Hadid (born 1950) with the equally dynamic art of the Russian Suprematist and Constructivist avant garde–as exemplified in works by Ilya Chashnik, El Lissitzky, Kasimir Malevich, Alexander Rodchenko and Nikolai Suetin. The book documents an extraordinary, imaginative exhibition curated and designed by Hadid, which examines this conjunction across four themes or aesthetic qualities: Abstraction, Distortion, Fragmentation and Flotation. The exhibition, held in the Galerie Gmurzynska in Zurich in the summer of 2010, was effectively a continuous art installation or environment, with the rooms dramatically striated and sculpted in angular black and white patterns. Hadid first explored the Russian avant garde in her graduation project in 1976-77, and this project consequently represents both a culmination and a labor of love for the architect.

Zaha Hadid is the most visionary of the best-known contemporary architects.
